This policy explains how Boreal Markdown handles information for the iOS app and companion website.
iOS app
Boreal Markdown version 1.0.0 opens Markdown files you choose through iOS file access, renders previews, lets you edit source text, saves user-directed changes, and exports PDFs. The app does not require an account, does not use hosted sync, does not process document content with AI, and does not collect tracking data.
The app may store local preferences, recent file references, editor defaults, preview defaults, export defaults, and save status on your device so the document workflow can work predictably. These local records are used only for app functionality.
Companion website
The companion website provides product pages, FAQ, blog posts, RSS, sitemap, robots, llms text files, and lightweight API responses. It is not a note storage service.

If you contact support, Borealbit Technology Limited will receive the information you choose to include in your email, such as your email address, message, screenshots, or diagnostic details.
