What is Boreal Markdown?
Boreal Markdown is an iOS Markdown document tool for opening, reading, editing, saving, and exporting plain .md files.
What is included in the P0 release?
P0 covers the document loop: open .md and .markdown files, preview rendered Markdown, edit source text, see save state, save changes, configure export defaults, and export a clean PDF.
Where do my files live?
Your Markdown files stay in the file locations you choose through iOS file access. Boreal Markdown does not require an account, hosted sync, or server-side document storage.
Does Boreal Markdown use AI or cloud processing?
No. The P0 release does not process your document content with AI or upload it to a hosted document service.
What can I export?
You can export the rendered Markdown preview as a PDF with basic options such as paper size, text size, theme, and whether to include the document title.
